In the run-up to the 50th anniversary special, while Doctor Who fans were wondering just which former Doctors they’d get to see in The Day of the Doctor, it turns out so were most of the Doctors…

A newly released documentary (which may or may not be slightly tongue-in-cheek) follows fifth, sixth and seventh Doctors Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy on an increasingly desperate quest to land parts in the 50th anniversary special.

The 30-minute story, written and directed by Davison, includes cameos from Olivia Colman, Sean Pertwee, Paul McGann, David Tennant, Matt Smith and more and also reveals John Barrowman's deepest, darkest secret, and exactly what Steven Moffat gets up to while locked in his office alone...
