Simon Cowell may not need to look too far next time he's in the market for a couple of new judges on an X Factor panel – his two puppies Squiddly and Diddly are waiting in the wings.
Having been introduced via Twitter on 14 October (Squiddly is a girl, Diddly is a boy) the pair have since gone on to share their support for the US X Factor judge who is mentoring this year's groups.
After technical issues upset the first live show – the wrong voting phone numbers were displayed on screen – it was decided the acts would have to sing their 'save me' songs again the following evening, with viewers being given another chance to vote and the result being postponed until tomorrow night's show. Simon went to the effort of explaining the problem on Twitter in detail.
The puppies were unimpressed (presumably believing they could run the show better).
Squiddly even got her dressing room demands figured out in advance.
Simon has also revealed he's going to set Squiddly and Diddly up with their own Twitter account, so watch this space for more detailed support of his X Factor acts. Yes, we'd call on cute puppies to encourage votes too Si!
