It was all change on X Factor’s Saturday night show this week as the show opened with a guest performance from Nile Rodgers and Chic and ended without a Flash Vote.

The Flash Vote, which gives viewers ten minutes to vote on Saturday nights has seen the act with the lowest number of votes guarantee themselves a spot in Sunday’s sing-off.

But the format was skipped this week, meaning we’ll find out both acts in the bottom two on tonight’s Sunday night show instead.

Show bosses haven’t confirmed whether this is how the show will continue until the end of the current series – perhaps with big-name guest performances on both shows.

But back to the performances and this week it was a case of saving the best until last as Sam Bailey wowed not just with her performance of Barbara Streisand and Donna Summer’s Enough is Enough but also her stunning figure. The last remaining act in Sharon Osbourne’s Overs category admits she has lost one and half stone after spending more time in the gym and playing football with the other acts at the house – if that’s the result, sign us up!
