The British viewing public have demonstrated an insatiable appetite for structured reality. If we're not eavesdropping on the comings and goings of Made in Chelsea's cocktail-slurping Sloanies, we're observing TOWIE's perma-tanned masses or gawping at Geordie Shore's raucous binges.
So E4 are making a smart move by commissioning new show Party House. The six-part series is designed to capture the "essence" of the UK's hedonistic house parties, with each episode following a different group of friends as they're given the keys to an empty mansion with a mission to throw the party to end all parties.
Every instalment will begin with the morning after the night before, before cameras rake back over the evening's drama, profiling everything from hook-ups to fall outs to confessions of undying love.
Party House is the show's working title, with the series currently on the lookout for over-18 year olds willing to put their party-loving antics on screen.
