After the room auditions, a performance at Wembley in front of 4,000 and then those dreaded chairs, these six acts have made it through to Judges’ Houses.
Indeed, this lucky lot will travel with Overs mentor Sharon Osbourne to her LA pad, where Mrs O will choose which acts she’s taking to the live shows.

Andrea wowed judges with her room audition – using a flute during a rendition of her own song no less. Andrea’s from a musical family, saying “I have got music in my blood”. Andrea gave up her job as Head of Music at a secondary school in January, splitting her time between working with Autistic children and gigging with a live band, made up of herself and two male guitarists.

Shelley has impressed judges both with her amazing vocals and bubbly personality. Shelley is a single mum to 7-year-old daughter Madeline, whom she often entertains with her singing, as well as performing at weddings and birthdays. Shelley’s made it to Bootcamp twice before (once in 2008 and 2012). Could this be the year Shelley (a huge Aretha Franklin fan) waves goodbye to van driving?

Prison Officer Sam has wowed from day one, getting a rather saucy “cuff me” from Gary Barlow himself. Huge performances at the rooms, Wembley and at Bootcamp, Sam was the first to take a seat in Sharon’s category. Sam lives with her husband in Leicestershire with her two young children Tommy and Brooke.

Zoe has been working in her family owned Malaysian restaurant, having given up being a backing vocalist for band Alabama 3 after finding out she was pregnant. Zoe’s daughter is now 3 years old. Zoe has impressed the judges from the start. Having thought she’d missed her chance for a career in singing, could this be Zoe’s year?

Well, it took rather a lot of drama but Joseph got there in the end! Joseph was devastated last year when he missed out on a place at Judges’ Houses. Joseph started singing properly at age 16 in a Metallica tribute band touring the UK and Ireland for a number of years. Since being on the show last year he has continued to do a number of gigs locally. His son Kian has caught the judges’ attention and is always there to support Joseph.

Lorna packs a punch with big inspiration – hoping to be as big as Mariah Carey and Beyonce. Lorna has had a taste of success, scooping £8000 for taking part in Jamaica’s Tasty Talent competition. Lorna hopes to win the X Factor and go on to sell millions of records.
