Olly Murs will make a return to The X Factor this year as Gary Barlow’s Judges’ Houses guest, the singer has confirmed.
“Hey all, so there have been loads of rumours about it & I can confirm that YES I'll be @GaryBarlow 's Guest Judge on this year’s @TheXFactor,” the 29-year old tweeted.
The tweet confirms RadioTimes.com's story from earlier this month.
Olly Murs rose to fame after coming second on the 2009 series of X Factor, losing out on the top prize to Joe McElderry. He went on to get signed with Epic Records and has since released two successful solo albums.
Murs previously returned to the X Factor as Caroline Flack’s co-host on ITV2 spin-off show The X Tra Factor for the 2011 run of the programme.
