Ever wished you could step straight into a Doctor Who scene? This is exactly what photographer Tiia Ohman did when she took her obsession with TV shows Doctor Who, Sherlock and Merlin to the extreme and sought out the locations where Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman and Matt Smith acted out their scenes.

Under the project Fangirl Quest 2013, Ohman visited the iconic Eddie’s Diner in Cardiff, where scenes from Doctor Who were filmed. She then travelled to the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire to discover the setting of Merlin scenes with Bradley James and Colin Morgan, later she ventured to The Three Bears Cave in Forest Fawr Country Park in Wales, The Bush Inn, St. Hilary, and St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London for key Sherlock scenes staring Benedict Cumberbatch.

The final stop? The moody but stunning coastal area of Barafundle Bay in Pembrokeshire where a strapping Cumberbatch stars as James in the movie Third Star.

Cleverly, Ohman has found the exact frames from the TV footage using her iPad and captured the scene in each of her shots, we think they came out rather well…
