With two episodes to go, the Breaking Bad finale is going to be a thrilling as well as a sad day for fans suddenly deprived of their favourite TV fix.

But as the series careers towards what looks like being a violent and dramatic conclusion, there’s some good news – fans will be getting an extra 30 minutes of Breaking Bad goodness before it ends.

According to writer Peter Gould – Breaking the good Bad news via Twitter – the last two episodes will run at “75 minutes each w/ commercials”, a full 15 minutes each longer than standard instalments.

Meanwhile, the show’s network AMC has released a new poster featuring chemistry-teacher-turned-crystal-meth-manufacturer Walter White’s famous RV, accompanied by the following tagline…

“It was all in the chemistry. Thanks to everyone who made bad so good.”
