Downton Abbey is returning to our telly screens for its fourth series this Sunday. But, of course, you already know that...
Will you be doing anything to mark the occasion? Making yourself a fancy cocktail to sip while Cora and co wander around the Abbey, perhaps? Or maybe you'll be buying yourself a four-poster bed.
It might sound silly, but it's actually what plenty of you Downton Abbey fans have been doing.
eBay has noticed a surge in sales of Downton Abbey style decor as the countdown to the show's fourth series continues – and purchases of four-poster beds have doubled in a month.
It's not just beds fit for a Dowager Countess that you are desperate to get your hands on, though. According to the online marketplace, chandeliers and candelabras have been 20% more popular since the build up to the show began at the beginning of August, while sales of ornate serving platters are up by 30% and the number of dressing screens sold has risen 35%.
Steven Heywood, a spokesperson for eBay, said: "It seems that the return of the nation’s favourite drama has inspired Brits to bring some of the series’ style into their own homes. With over 50,000 listings of chandeliers and almost 1,000 Edwardian style chairs currently on the site, eBay offers the perfect platform for Brits to browse Downton inspired décor."
Downton Abbey returns on Sunday at 9:00pm on ITV
