Earlier this week, JK Rowling announced she is to make her screenwriting debut in a new Harry Potter-themed film series for Warner Bros.
And while the movies will be set "in the worldwide community of witches and wizards" that make up Potter world, it seems Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, will not be appearing.
“Needless to say I wouldn’t be involved, and I guess none of the others will be, but I know nothing about it,” confirmed Radcliffe at the launch of Sky’s new drama season.
Warner Bros say the film series is part of an "expanded creative partnership" with the best-selling author.
It will feature Newt Scamander, the fictional author of the textbook Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, owned by Harry Potter at Hogwarts school.
