The popular Brighton Comedy Festival returns this year as the the comedy event of the season. Running from 4 to 20 October, it will feature some of the biggest names in stand-up comedy. With over 30,000 guests expected, Brighton will be even more full than usual of fun, laughter and entertainment gold.
Another stellar line-up returns to the perform across the Brighton Dome, Corn Exchange, Studio Theatre, Komedia and The Old Market, entertaining the crowds in this cosmopolitan seaside town. The fabulous Alan Carr returns as the host of the opening night gala, and others set to perform include Jimmy Carr, Russell Kane, Stewart Lee, Tony Law, Lee Nelson, Alexei Sayle, Jason Byrne and James Acaster.
You'll even have the chance to see up-and-coming talent, fresh from their runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and The Squawker Awards return with applications now open for Brighton's own New Act competition.
