The Killing, series 3 – available every Monday on Netflix
The American remake of Danish cult hit The Killing has a serious following. US network AMC announced in 2012 that the series wouldn't be renewed for a third run, before Netflix and Fox stepped in to revive the show and ensure the future of the fan favourite.
Following homicide detectives Sarah Linden and Stephen Holder, The Killing season three picks up a year after the end of the last series. Following the close of the Rosie Larsen case, which consumed the main characters for the first two series, Linden is no longer a detective. But when Holder discovers a string of gruesome murders, Linden is drawn back into the life she thought she'd left behind...
Each new episode of series three is now available every Monday on Netflix, just one day after it airs in the US.
Fancy getting into the dark drama? Seasons one and two are also available on Netflix.
The Killing is exclusive to Netflix in the UK
