Max Branning (Jake Wood) is to find himself in a dicey situation next week when he confronts Adam, the brother of Kirsty’s ex-partner Carl.
The confrontation comes after Kirsty (Kierston Wareing) reveals that she’s been inundated with phone calls from Adam, who wants her to meet up with Carl, the former boyfriend who is about to be released from prison.
Max, still under the impression that Kirsty is pregnant, confides his concerns in Jack (Scott Maslen) who comes up with a plan to get Adam and Carl out of the picture. Max then visits Adam to tell him that Carl should stay away, but Adam isn’t having any of it and punches Max.
Suddenly Jack appears and wastes no time in getting stuck in, but will Kirsty be pleased that the Branning brothers have got involved? It certainly doesn’t seem that they’ll have acted as a deterrent – earlier this month EastEnders bosses announced that Carl (played by Daniel Coonan) will be seen on screen from June after tracking Kirsty down.
