ITV has released a sneak peek of the next episode of Coronation Street in which an emotional Gloria Price (Sue Johnston) pleads with her daughter Stella (Michelle Collins) to survive.

Rushed to hospital in the aftermath of the fire at the Rovers, Stella will be seen fighting for her life, with Gloria telling her that “mothers go first”. Will she be able to pull through?

Viewers can see the scene in full on Wednesday at 7.30pm.
