As runaway Liam’s (James Forde) ties to a teen gang deepen in the coming weeks, concerned mum Bianca (Patsy Palmer) is left with no choice but to report him to the police. 

In a forthcoming episode, viewers will see Liam’s allegiance to his new crowd tested by leader Kane (Harry Rafferty) who demands that he complete a series of challenges. Unfortunately, these tasks involve smashing the window of a car and stealing a bottle of spirits from a shop. 

But when news reaches Bianca that Liam has been witnessed holding up McKlunky’s for cash with a knife in his possession, she feels that she has to act. Exhausted and in need of emotional support from Carol (Lindsey Coulson), Bianca nonetheless feels that the only way to keep her son safe is to let the authorities know of his involvement in the crime. 

The scenes will air on Tuesday 26 and Thursday 28 March.
