Explosions, near-death experiences, giant sea monsters and Benedict Cumberbatch's brooding glare - the latest trailer for JJ Abrams' Star Trek Into Darkness is loaded with action-packed sequences to whet the appetites of Trek fans.
The new teaser begins with Chris Pine's character Kirk being reprimanded by Captain Pike - "Do you have any idea what a pain you are?" - before launching into a series of fast-paced scenes, including a dramatic free-fall over the edge of a sheer cliff.
But fear not Cumberbatch fans as midway through the trailer the action cuts to shots of the Sherlock actor with Kirk describing his character, John Harrison, as a "fugitive", before declaring "I want to take him out".
The 80 seconds of footage also features shots of Spock (Zachary Quinto) and Nyota (Zoe Saldana) - as well as a glimpse of Scotty's (Simon Pegg) terrified reaction to a gigantic creature of the deep.
Star Trek Into Darkness is released in UK cinemas on 9 May. RadioTimes.com recently watched the first 28 minutes of the film - if you don't want to know everything that happens, definitely don't read our article here.
