Fans awaiting the release of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire have been treated to a number of new teaser posters over the last couple of days, with the latest featuring an immaculate Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen. 

The recent Oscar-winner is seen sporting an ostentatious white dress in the style of the wealthy Capitol with a single white rose clasped in her hand – an ominous gift from the vengeful President Snow.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will revisit the character of Katniss Everdeen (played by Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence) as she and her fellow District 12 tribute Peeta Mallark (Josh Hutcherson) embark upon a victory tour following their triumph in the annual Hunger Games, a battle to the death between youngsters from the 12 districts. But the announcement of the upcoming Quarter Quell – the 75th edition of the barbaric competition – bears a deadly surprise for the pair as they are forced to fight for their lives once again.
