A major misunderstanding is set to cause ructions in the coming weeks as Bob (Tony Audenshaw) starts to believe that Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) is dating his buddy Dan (Liam Fox).

Bob is, of course, ignorant of Brenda’s recent medical trauma and the fact that Dan is merely offering support following her brain-tumour diagnosis. So when Brenda asks for the afternoon off for personal reasons, Bob assumes she has a date with Dan after spying them together.

Feeling betrayed, Bob becomes incensed after witnessing Dan hugging Brenda and furiously pulls them apart. He yells at Dan, reminding him that he’s supposed to be his mate before shoving him hard. As the men start a scuffle, Bob tells them that he won’t stand in the way of true love and leaves, completely devastated.
