Sandy Thomas (Freddie Jones) faces more misery in the coming week when the hide he’s been using as a getaway has burned down. 

With his family questioning his health and sanity, Sandy has actually been escaping to Seth’s hide in the company of Sean (Luke Roskell). But Sandy becomes deflated on Wednesday when he learns that the hide has burned down. 

Later in the week, viewers will see Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy), Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Ashley (John Middleton) all realising just how unhappy Sandy has been when he tells them that he wants to live the rest of his years in a place of his own. His solution? Moving to a retirement home…
