As well as dishing out an award or two, the Oscars are known for playing host to some memorable on-stage entertainment. And this year fans of musical theatre are in for a treat as the cast of Oscar-nominated Les Misérables take to the stage.
Ceremony producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have revealed that the star-studded line-up from the hit musical film will reunite on Sunday to perform as part of a tribute to the resurgence of movie musicals over the past decade.
Academy Award nominees Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway will be joined by their co-stars Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Helena Bonham Carter, Samantha Barks and Aaron Tveit. The line-up will be completed by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Jennifer Hudson and will honour film adaptations of musicals including Chicago, Dreamgirls and Les Misérables.

Other previously announced performers at Sunday night's ceremony include Shirley Bassey, Barbra Streisand and British singer Adele who will perform her Bond theme Skyfall.
