In just a few months one of the year's biggest films, Star Trek Into Darkness, is set to hit cinemas worldwide. If you thought you were excited to see Benedict Cumberbatch, Zachary Quinto, Chris Pine and co grace our screens in the sci-fi blockbuster, wait until you hear what the actors have to say about their latest project...

Speaking as part of a special first-look featurette, director JJ Abrams described filming as "the most fun and challenging experience I've had," before teasing, "I am more excited than I can tell you - the action and the scale are light years beyond what we did in the first movie."

And he isn't the only one to gush about the film, with Zachary Quinto describing it as "stunningly beautiful," and Zoe Saldana naming it, "the kind of film 3D was made for".
