Coronation Street: pregnant Kylie ruptures her spleen in drunken fall – first look pics

But will she lose her baby following a boozy bender in the Rovers?

Pregnant Kylie Platt (Paula Lane) is to end up in hospital with a ruptured spleen following a drunken fall from a table top at the Rovers Return.

Kylie will go on a bender after Gail (Helen Worth) discovers that it was she who passed on her bank account information to conman Lewis (Nigel Havers), who then used the data to fleece her.

With Gail threatening to tell David (Jack P Shepherd), Kylie heads to the pub and hits the self-destruct button. But tragedy strikes when she climbs up onto a table and falls. After being rushed to hospital, it soon transpires that Kylie has ruptured her spleen and will need emergency surgery.

David, who has been away from Weatherfield on a course in London, rushes to the hospital fearing for the life of the unborn child that he believes is his. Little does he realise, though, that Gail has now been told that the baby’s father could well be Nick (Ben Price). So will she speak out about the sordid secret that threatens to tear the family apart?
