“We’re talking vehicular warfare,” says Ludacris in the brand new Fast & Furious 6 Super Bowl TV spot. And you know what? He’s not wrong…

A teaser for the sixth high-octane Fast & Furious movie aired last night during Super Bowl XLVII and promises fans of the series another dose of fast-paced motorised fun.

Featuring cars crashing through buildings, tanks demolishing SUVs and even a souped up motor bursting out of the front of a crashing jumbo jet, the TV spot suggests that Fast & Furious 6 could well be the slickest and most jaw-dropping movie in the series to date:

In the new film, Dom (Vin Diesel) and the Fast & Furious gang are reunited after Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) comes to them with a proposal. If they'll help him take down a gang of mercenary drivers led by Owen Shaw (Luke Evans), they'll all earn full pardons from the authorities.

Directed by series stalwart Justin Lin and featuring appearances from Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, Fast & Furious 6 will be released in the UK on Friday 24 May.
