There’s only a fortnight to go until A Good Day to Die Hard blasts its way into cinemas, but if you simply cannot wait... you're in luck because we have a brand new action-packed scene from the film.

In the clip, grizzled super-cop John McClane (Bruce Willis) and his son Jack (Jai Courtney) find themselves outnumbered and disarmed by a gang led by a rather xenophobic Russian mobster. His greeting to the pair? “You know what I hate about the Americans? Everything. Especially cowboys.”

Naturally, John and Jack aren’t going to stand for Uncle Sam’s good name being besmirched like that, so they leap into action, filling the air with hot lead and wisecracks about how emoting “isn’t your thing, John.”

We won’t spoil it, but the way in which this father and son killing team end up getting out of their predicament is, by action movie standards at any rate, really rather ingenious:

Directed by John Moore and featuring Yuliya Snigir, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and (possibly) Patrick Stewart among its cast, A Good Day to Die Hard will be released in the UK on Valentine’s Day.

And if the clip's got you in the mood for more from the new Die Hard movie, check out the postertrailerbehind-the-scenes video and this glut of pictures.
