Abi (Lorna Fitzgerald) gets a shock next week when she sees what’s going behind the door of room number four at the B&B.
In need of money for a school project, Abi finds that her dad is doing his best to avoid his children. The reason for Max (Jake Wood) keeping a low profile is because he doesn’t want the family seeing the bruises he received after tracking down Kirsty (more details here).
But after learning that Max is staying at the B&B, Abi heads up to his room and is flabbergasted when Kirsty (Kierston Wareing) opens the door to reveal Max lying in bed.
Abi then storms home, with Max in hot pursuit. The commotion soon alerts Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) to the fact that her dad has fallen back into the arms of Kirsty so soon after Tanya’s (Jo Joyner) departure:
“Just have a bit of respect. Even just for yourself,” she says. Disgusted by Max’s behaviour, Lauren asks if Max loves Kirsty and when he hesitates in answering, both daughters tell him to get out of the house.
Later, Max is devastated as he tells Kirsty what happened while he watches his girls sitting together in the Square gardens. So is the relationship with his family now beyond repair?
