The battle for baby Ruby is set to get very ugly next week with the beleaguered Tyrone (Alan Halsall) ending up locked in a police cell.
After the abusive Kirsty (Natalie Gumede) comes to the realisation that Tyrone was seeking custody of their child, a row breaks out on the stairs of No 9 Coronation Street. Kirsty tries to hit Tyrone once again, but falls and injures herself. Yet after being rushed to hospital, Kirsty devises a callous plan to use her accident to her own advantage.
It isn’t long before the police come calling, the result being that Tyrone is put behind bars and painted as a dangerous and violent bully. Viewers will see Tyrone protest his innocence and list all the injuries that Kirsty has inflicted upon him, but will his version of events be accepted?
