Gritty and gripping American western Hell on Wheels is back on our screens this Sunday.
Set in 1865, Hell on Wheels follows the inhabitants of a treacherous travelling settlement that moves with the building of the first transcontinental railroad. Series one - which aired in May last year - followed former confederate soldier Cullen Bohannon, played by Anson Mount, as he worked on the railway and tried to track down the union soldiers who killed his wife and young son. At the end of the first series, Cullen killed who he believed to be his wife's murderer, only to discover he had killed the wrong man...
The second series of the Emmy-nominated drama will see Cullen continue on his quest for revenge.
Hell on Wheels is produced by John Shiban, who's worked on Breaking Bad, Vampire Diaries, The X Files and Star Trek: Enterprise.
