Celebrity Mastermind – 7:00pm, BBC1


Paralympic double medallist Hannah Cockroft, presenter Lizo Mzimba, author Val McDermid and actress Crissy Rock take on the Mastermind chair.

Racing Legends – 8:00pm, BBC2

The first part of a new series which follows celebrity car enthusiasts as they re-enact famous races. Tonight sees actor Patrick Stewart retrace former racing driver Stirling Moss’s journey to Florence in a classic Mercedes. He then follows the route of famous Italian race, the Mille Miglia. 

Restless – 9:00pm, BBC1

Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery stars alongside Charlotte Rampling, Hayley Atwell, Rufus Sewell and Michael Gambon in this two-part adaptation of William Boyd’s bestselling novel. A young woman’s world is turned upside down when she learns her mother Sally is actually a spy called Eva Delectorskaya who has been on the run for the last twenty years. See preview pictures.

Panto! – 9:00pm, ITV1

John Bishop wrote and stars in this comedy drama based on his own experiences of the pantomine circuit. Also starring Sheridan Smith, Michael Cochrane and 90s pop star Chesney Hawkes. Bishop plays Lewis Loud – a Morecambe FM DJ making his stage debut – to Sheridan Smith’s soap actress Tamsin.

Len Goodman’s Dancing Feet – 9:00pm, BBC4

Strictly Come Dancing’s head judge Len Goodman looks back at the history of ballroom dancing, to the days when the Home Secretary sent in police to prevent the charleston corrupting the masses… He also discovers the stories behind the strict rules that are imposed on steps, movements and music.

A Young Doctor’s Notebook – 9:00pm, Sky Arts1


It’s the last in the series of Sky’s Bulgakov adaptation. The young doctor’s morphine addiction is worsening, while his older self isn’t too happy either. As the show comes to an end, fans of Daniel Radcliffe and Jon Hamm will enjoy the scene featuring the pair sharing a bath…
