It’s Rock ‘n’ Roll minus the sex and drugs in this musical comedy for all the family. Jack Black stars as an out-of-work metal guitarist posing as a teacher.

Mission: Impossible – 9.00pm, Film4

Action spy thriller starring Tom Cruise, whose mission is to recover stolen information that threatens to blow the cover of US spies throughout the world.

Kill Bill Vol 2 - 10.00pm, BBC3

The Bride (Uma Thurman) tracks down the remaining few on her hit list in Quentin Tarantino’s bloody martial arts drama.

Die Hard 2 – 10.40pm, C4

Nothing ever goes smoothly for NY cop John McClane. Bruce Willis stars as the unlikely hero whose night takes him from waiting for his wife at the airport to saving the place from dastardly terrorists.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day – 10.45pm, ITV1

Cyborg Arnold Schwarzenegger comes back from the future to save our world from the T-1000 model in this James Cameron-directed action thriller.
