If you just can't wait for The Hobbit to appear in a cinema near you, you'll be pleased to know that one helpful fan has cut all the footage that has been released so far into one epic seven and a half minute long trailer.
The film pulls together all the clips and trailers from Peter Jackon's new trilogy to create an almost seamless video which runs in chronological order.
Most of the footage is from the opening scenes of the film - with much of the action going on inside Bilbo's home, Bag End - but fans also get a glimpse of the Misty Mountains, Gollum and the ring of power.
The Hobbit is adapted from a book of the same name by JRR Tolkien and charts the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, who in the film is played by Sherlock star Martin Freeman. As well as the familiar faces from The Hobbit's sequel The Lord of the Rings - Ian McKellen has returned as Gandalf, Cate Blanchett is reprising her role as Galadriel and Hugo Weaving can be seen in the trailer playing Elf King Elrond - Richard Armitage, Aidan Turner, Billy Connolly, Lee Pace, James Nesbitt and Benedict Cumberbatch are also in the cast.
While some (aka RadioTimes.com's Tom Cole) could argue that too much footage is released before the film nowadays, seven minutes from an epic three part series shouldn't give too much of the plot away...
The Hobbit opens in UK cinemas on 13 December 2012
