It’s the sequel to the prequel sci-fi fans have been waiting for – new Battlestar Galactica series Blood & Chrome is set for release this Friday online.
The first in the series of ten 7-12-minute episodes becomes available on Friday 9 November, via YouTube entertainment channel Machinima Prime, with the remaining instalments being released over the next four weeks. A full two-hour version is expected to air on Syfy early next year.
Set between the events of Battlestar prequel Caprica and the main series itself, Blood & Chrome follows young pilot William Adama – destined one day to become Commander of the Battlestar on which he now serves – during the first Cylon War.
Adama is played by Luke Pasqualino – known to British audiences as Freddie from Channel 4’s Skins – while the project is executive produced by Battlestar Galactica alumni David Eick and Michael Taylor.
