The second series of BBC hit Death in Paradise – which is currently being filmed on the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe – will have a host of exciting guest stars.
Lucy Davis, who played loveable Dawn Tinsley in The Office, the lead of Gavin and Stacey Mathew Horne and Primeval star and former member of S Club 7 Hannah Spearritt are the latest stars to be joining the witty crime drama.
The second series will also see appearances from singer-songwriter Jamelia, James Fleet, Lucien Lavisount, Neil Pearson, Ralf Little, Shaun Parkes, James Murray, Sean Pertwee, Cherie Lunghi, Dexter Fletcher, Stephanie Beacham and Gemma Jones.
Death in Paradise’s first series saw DI Richard Poole, played by Ben Miller, arrive on an idyllic island and become its new police detective. Together with sassy sergeant Camille they solve mysterious murders on the Caribbean island, while Poole tries not to get burnt and searches for a proper British cup of tea.
Lucy Davis said: “It’s great to be working with such a fantastic cast against the beautiful backdrop of Guadeloupe. Being filmed on location really offers a sense of authenticity and adds to the quirky comedy, so it’s been brilliant to experience first-hand.”
Death in Paradise is set to return to our screens in early 2013.
