After five long years, Hollywood legend Bruce Willis is reprising his role as troubled terrorist-fighting detective John McClane in the Die Hard franchise.
The fifth Die Hard film, which is titled A Good Day to Die Hard, will see McClane getting caught up in (yet another) terrorist plot. The film will be the first to take place outside of America as McClane tries to help his estranged son who has got into trouble in Russia.
The epic action series has spanned 24 years and has so far seen McClane fight five groups of rogue terrorists to gallantly save his (now ex-) wife, family and even the United States.
In the fifth installment, Australian actor Jai Courtney plays McClane’s son and Mary Elizabeth Winstead has reprised her role as his daughter Lucy, while Sebastian Koch and Yuliya Snigir have been cast as Russian villains.
A Good Day to Die Hard, which is directed by John Moore, follows on from 2007’s Live Free or Die Hard.
