Feisty X Factor judge Tulisa is joining the ever increasing list of celebrities who have turned their talents to fashion designing.
The popstar, who frequently crops up in the worst dressed section of Britain's fashion magazines, is launching a clothes range that will be available in BANK fashion stores from October.
Her range, which will feature "colourful statement fabrics, edgy detailing and luxe materials", will be called The Female Boss after Tulisa's trademark tattoo which became a matter of controversy in last year's X Factor after complaints to Ofcom alleging product placement for her perfume range.
Tulisa's new venture seems an odd choice for the 24-year-old who has been widely criticised in the past for her unorthodox wardrobe choices on The X Factor and has even stated in an interview with Capital FM that, "I'm not so much into fashion, or labels, or seasons or what's in, I don't care."
But Tulisa has now revealed: "Girls often ask me where I get my clothes so I thought I'd create my own collection."
The line will be "something that's fun, feminine, full of attitude and that reflects my personality," added the star.
"In the past I wasn't interested in fashion. Being on The X Factor has made me become much more aware of my own personal style."
"To me, fashion is about having fun and experimenting and wearing what makes you feel good."
