It's not as if tonight's Olympic opening ceremony will need any livening up - but why not add to the excitement by playing British-icon bingo? Can you cross off all of the following...? Cricket It’s not an Olympic sport but cricket will get an innings during the opening ceremony, with a team of players demonstrating one of the most popular British games played around the world. Clouds We're still enjoying a mini heatwave but these clouds will provide a taster of real British weather - they're rigged up to turn on the precipitation when required. Animals The Great British countryside comes to east London in the form of 30 sheep, 12 horses, ten chickens, ten ducks, nine geese, three cows, three sheepdogs and two goats. Plough Alongside hardy farmers toiling in the field will be a plough to till the soil pulled by real working horses, demonstrating the country's rich agricultural life and traditions. Lake As if we haven’t had enough rain, the arena will boast a giant working water feature which will play host to some Olympic-standard swimmers… a team of ducks. Four Maypoles A flower topping each pole will represent the British nations — the rose of England, the thistle of Scotland, the daffodil of Wales and the flax from Northern Ireland. Mosh pit and Posh pit The Glastonbury Festival gets a tribute with the Mosh Pit, while the Posh Pit evokes the Last Night of the Proms. Each holds 100 guests who will battle it out musically on the night.
