Coraline – 1:00pm, Film4

An animated children’s fantasy film about Coraline (Dakota Fanning) who finds a hidden door leading to an eerie parallel world where everyone has button eyes and all her dreams come true.  

Live and Let Die – 2:45pm, ITV1

The eighth spy film in the James Bond series and the first to star Roger Moore as the fictional MI6 agent. Bond investigates the suspicious death of three British agents, following a trail that leads to New Orleans and the Caribbean, where he is surrounded by a world of gangsters and voodoo. 

Good Will Hunting – 9:00pm, BBC3

Oscar-winning drama about 20-year-old genius Will (Matt Damon) who escapes a prison sentence by meeting with therapist (Robin Williams) and studying advanced mathematics. With help from the therapy sessions, Will re-evaluates his relationships and addresses his emotional struggles.

Barton Fink – 11:00pm, Dave

New York City playwright Fink (John Turturro) is hired to write scripts for a Hollywood studio, but during his stay in an eerie hotel he develops severe writer’s block. His neighbour Charlie Meadows (John Goodman) tries to help but his when his real identity is revealed chaos unfolds.

Arlington Road – 11:35pm, BBC1

An FBI agent (Jeff Bridges) is widowed in an anti-terrorist operation gone wrong but the arrival of new neighbours lifts his spirits. He soon suspects their secretive behaviour and questions why they are hiding a set of blueprints in their house.

Summer Hours – 1:25am,BBC2
