Based on her skimpy stage gear you might be forgiven for thinking Rihanna didn't like clothes, but the pop superstar's new Sky Living show sets her up as something of a fashion guru.

Styled to Rock sees the Barbadian singer joined by Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts, stylist Lysa Cooper and British fashion designer Henry Holland in a bid to unearth the “next generation of raw, undiscovered fashion designers”.

The group of 12 handpicked hopefuls will be tasked with creating outfits for A-list musicians for a range of events, including stage, shoots and high-profile events.

A first-look trailer has been released with Rihanna, typically attired in a mish-mash of dungarees, fish-net, fur and baseball cap, on hand to offer advice to the competing designers because, “fashion has helped shape me into the artist I am today”.
