Rio Bravo – 1:25pm, Channel 5

A classic western film about a small-town sheriff who recruits the help of a young gunfighter, a drunk, and a cripple in a battle against the local bad guy.

North by Northwest – 4:10pm, Channel 5

Hitchcock classic about a New York advertising executive who finds his life in danger when he is gravely mistaken for ‘Mr Kaplan’ - a government agent. He tries to track down all the proof he can whilst evading the threat of murderous foreign spies.

Addams Family Values – 7:15pm, Film4

A follow-up to the hugely successful The Addams Family, this comical gothic film follows a jealous Wednesday and Pugsley employing some deadly tactics to try to dispose of the new baby in the family. 

Mesrine: Killer Instinct – 9:00pm, BBC4

This biographical crime drama looks at the life of Jacques Mesrine (played by an electric Vincent Cassell) - his controversial shooting in 1979, his years in the Algerian army and his trail of criminality across France, Spain and Canada.

Witness – 10:35pm, Channel 4

Follow the story of an eight-year-old Amish boy, the sole witness to a murder, who seeks protection from tough cop John Book (Harrison Ford) in a rural refuge, but the dangers of the outside world are never far away...

The Witches of Eastwick – 11:00pm, ITV3

Susan Sarandon, Michelle Pfeiffer and Cher star as three separated women from a quiet coastal town who together make a wish for a dynamic man to enter their lives. When their wish comes true they realise the ‘dream man’ (Jack Nicholson) is not all he seems…
