Bedlam fans will get their first look at Lacey Turner and the show’s updated cast this June when the supernatural drama returns to Sky Living.
The former EastEnder will star in Bedlam’s second series as paramedic Ellie who struggles with her special ability to see ghosts and longs for a normal life.
Turner will be joined in the drama by Fresh Meat’s Gemma Chan and newcomers Jack Roth and Nikesh Patel. Full Monty star Hugo Speer will also return as Warren Bettany, the owner of Bedlam Heights.
Lacey said of her new appointment: “I am really excited about taking part in the second series of Bedlam! It’s a great story with brilliant writing and a fantastic cast! Ellie is a really interesting and conflicted character I’m looking forward to playing her and seeing where the story takes her.”
Bedlam, which first aired in February 2011, is a drama series about the malevolent hauntings that take place in an apartment block renovated in the style of an old mental asylum.
The show’s second series will begin on Sky Living on Wednesday 6 June at 10:00pm.
