The BBC has announced the identities of four “battle advisers” who will help The Voice UK’s coaches polish and prepare their acts for the “battle rounds” of the competition.
Glamorous singer Paloma Faith will aid Script frontman Danny O’Donoghue in mentoring the acts in his charge, while veteran crooner Tom Jones will pair up with former Catatonia frontwoman and I’m a Celebrity… contestant Cerys Matthews.
Brit Award-winning Scissor Sisters member Ana Matronic will team up with Jessie J to manage her stable of acts and will.i.am is set to be joined by hip-hop artist and friend Dante Santiago, who used to be part of the group Atban Klann.
The show’s battle rounds will see two acts chosen from each team to sing duets before the coaches decide who will proceed to The Voice’s live shows.
Faith, Matthews, Matronic and Santiago will all make their debuts on The Voice UK later this month.
