It seems X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos had a rather embarrassing experience on her way through airport customs last night.

Heading back to the UK from Miami after a month stateside working on her debut solo album, the N-Dubz star was asked to open her suitcase after staff noticed it was vibrating.

Tweeting afterwards, Tulisa said, “back from most cringe moment of my life..checkin in 'Mam..ur suitcase is vibrating..can u open ur case n turn what eva that is off'..just kill me.”

The star didn't specify what kind of device was responsible for the incident (probably an electric toothbrush or shaver, we expect), although she did suggest she’d received some prudish reactions to the bulletin on Twitter.

“Some of the people on my time line r goin on like nuns...jeeeeez live a little..,” she tweeted, adding the hashtag “#boreoff”.

Come now, Tulisa, don't get your knickers in a twist...
