The Glee cast have teased their upcoming Michael Jackson episode in a new trailer.
It was confirmed in December of last year that the tribute had been given the go-ahead by the Jackson estate, and the episode will air in the US next week.
In the trailer the cast confirm that they’ll be performing a tribute to the King of Pop, saying: “Why should you watch this next episode of Glee? Two words: Michael Jackson.”
“It’s going to be amazing, make sure you watch it – sit down in front of your TV and watch all the dancing and singing that you want,” implores cast member Amber Riley.
In addition to the direct-to-camera enthusiasm, the trailer features shots of a dance routine set in a parking garage, which is somewhat reminiscent of the video for Jackson’s hit single Bad, scenes of Santana and Sebastian facing off and glimpses of Artie throwing shapes.
Glee’s Michael Jackson tribute will be screened on Tuesday 31 January.
