Pudsey’s adding a whole new dimension to his repertoire at this year’s Children in Need, when the eyepatch-sporting bear goes 3D for the first time ever.
Special effects bods at Pinewood studios have used motion-capture technology to bring the banana-hued grizzly to life and give his CiN animations an added thrust.
In the film above you can see the caring bear jiving around like Beyoncé in her Single Ladies music video, and we’re assured that he’ll be strutting his newly three-dimensional stuff in all manner of different scenarios on the night.
The famous yellow bear has been the mascot of Children in Need since his first TV appearance in 1985, though he was redesigned in 2007 and given a female counterpart named Blush in 2009.
