The Muppets take on Robert Louis Stevenson in their inimitable way in this rollicking musical version of the pirate saga. Using the bare bones of the classic story as a framework, director Brian Henson press-gangs the likes of Billy Connolly, Jennifer Saunders and Tim Curry into service for a series of hilarious cameos, accompanied by some rousing songs and the now customary "romance" between Miss Piggy and Kermit. Adults may find the voyage a long haul, but children will love it.

Plot Summary

Comedy musical adaptation of the classic Robert Louis Stevenson tale, starring the Muppets. Young Jim Hawkins and his chums think their dreams of adventure on the high seas have been answered when they are left the map to Captain Flint's buried treasure.
