Fifteen-year-old techno-geek Tom (Carter Jenkins) discovers cute but ruthless pint-sized space creatures using his family's holiday home as a base for a full-blown alien invasion. Having mocked him for being a "mathlete", Tom's siblings and cousins soon realise that his ingenuity and computer skills may be the only thing standing between them and the destruction of the Earth. They band together to foil the visitors' plans, while their parents and grandmother remain oblivious to the mayhem surrounding them. Conceived and co-written by Brit Mark Burton (Madagascar, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit), this is a thrilling children's yarn with enough pop-culture references to hold grown-ups' interest, while director John Schultz delivers a series of ingenious slapstick set pieces that echo both The Goonies and Home Alone.
Plot Summary
Fantasy adventure starring Carter Jenkins and Ashley Tisdale. Teenager Tom Pearson arrives with his family at their holiday home only to discover it is occupied by decidedly unfriendly beings from another planet. The little green men are armed with thought control devices that only work on adults, so it falls to Tom and the younger members of the Pearson clan to try to prevent a full-scale invasion of Earth.
