Our Score
Jackie Chan's most sensational action scenes of the 1990s, impressive production values and super-slick direction (from Jackie and Bennie Chan) illuminate this little-known movie. Although the plot doesn't bear close scrutiny (something about a top-secret energy source, an African tribe and amnesia), the extraordinary set pieces - from a clog-assisted Rotterdam brawl, to a three-way rooftop battle that doesn't relent for nearly ten minutes - rival anything in a megabuck Hollywood blockbuster. Jackie's trademark use of slapstick comedy at the height of the fighting works brilliantly, too.

A commando loses his memory in a helicopter crash, leaving him adrift in an unfamiliar world where his past may hold a vital secret. Luckily, he manages to find his way back to civilisation, but the real test comes as he tries to work out who to trust. Martial arts action comedy, written, directed by and starring Jackie Chan. With Michelle Ferre, Mirai Yamamoto, Ed Nelson and Ron Smerczak.
