Jackie Chan's most sensational action scenes of the 1990s, impressive production values and super-slick direction (from Jackie and Bennie Chan) illuminate this little-known movie. Although the plot doesn't bear close scrutiny (something about a top-secret energy source, an African tribe and amnesia), the extraordinary set pieces - from a clog-assisted Rotterdam brawl, to a three-way rooftop battle that doesn't relent for nearly ten minutes - rival anything in a megabuck Hollywood blockbuster. Jackie's trademark use of slapstick comedy at the height of the fighting works brilliantly, too.
Plot Summary
Martial arts action comedy starring Jackie Chan. When a commando unit on a covert mission is betrayed by one of its superiors, the only survivor takes refuge with a South African tribe. Suffering from amnesia and with assassins on his trail, he begins a desperate journey to recover his memory.
