Review

Our Score
Jill Clayburgh was so good in films like Gable and Lombard and An Unmarried Woman that her place among American cinema's elite seemed assured. But Hollywood has always had problems accommodating intelligent actresses and the roles she deserved simply didn't come her way. She's easily the best thing in this TV movie, playing a dying woman trying to find a replacement wife and mother for her family. Prolific TV-movie director David Greene, who made the screen version of the hit musical Godspell, directs with a sensitive touch, injecting the otherwise unbearable drama with some gentle humour.

Summary

A happy housewife is devastated to discover she only has a short time left to live, but soon pulls herself together and sets about making plans for her family once she is dead - including the difficult task of finding a new wife for her heartbroken husband. Drama, starring Jill Clayburgh and Tom Skerritt.
