Our Score
The shallow world of India's rich and famous is explored through the eyes of an idealistic female journalist in this daring but flawed satire from director Madhur Bhandarkar. Konkona Sen Sharma plays the talented entertainment writer who captures all the A-list action for Mumbai's top showbiz column Page 3, yet yearns to be a serious investigative reporter. Unusually for Indian cinema, the film depicts both the glitz and sleaze of celebrity living, commendably touching on controversial issues from the casting couch to paedophilia, suicide and drug abuse. Sadly though, events are far too rambling to make more than a superficial impression, while some of the over-played performances are simply laughable.

A female journalist living in Mumbai meets a young woman who is in a troubled relationship with a married Bollywood star. The reporter offers her a place to stay, not realising the encounter will change Madhvi's outlook on the industry she works in. Drama, starring Konkona Sen Sharma, Atul Kulkarni and Sandhya Mridul.
