Western drama starring Jane Seymour. Dr Quinn travels to Boston to attend her daughter's graduation. But the trip proves more eventful than she could have imagined.
Jane Seymour and Joe Lando leave their frontier town and head for Boston in this TV-movie spin-off from the long-running TV western series. But any hopes they had of turning the trip into a second honeymoon are dashed by Quinn's mother's ill health, the prejudicial treatment of Colleen (Jessica Bowman) on her graduation from medical school and the schemes of a ruthless band of city elders. Director Jerry London generates a credible 19th-century atmosphere, but it's somewhat undermined by the resort to such melodramatic set pieces as an emergency tracheotomy and a hatchet-wielding showdown between Lando and the corrupt politicians. Fans won't complain, however.
